On August 29th Cannelton Baptist had a Baptism during the sermon. This year five were baptized and officially become members of our family. Baptism marks the beginning of one's faith in Christ. As they continue to seek God with all their hearts, they will achieve maturity in their faith. Pray for them to this end. Here are the fives testimonial on their baptism.
Alan Ferguson - "I have been attending Cannelton Baptist for twenty years. I am very proud to be part of the church family. I have decided it is time to contunue my walk with God by being baptized here to symbolize where I am with God and to solidify my relationship with God and my family at Cannelton. Plus, being able to do this with Adrienne is a blessing."
Adrienne Warden - "When I got the opporunity to be baptized I wanted to join the classes right away. I noticed theat every week I learned something new. I became more familiar with the Bible and I got to know God better. I want to be baptized because I know it is the right choice."
Hunter Schwarz - "My Grandma told me that she saw in the bulletin that you were having baptism classes again this year and I wanted to join. I knew from reading Bible verses that God says all people should be baptized and I wanted to live my life for Jesus and for him to take away my sins. I believe in God."
Tiffany Taylor - "I want to get baptized because I want to make a change in my life for the better and I believe it all starts with putting my faith in Christ."
Brittany Taylor - "The reason why I decided I wanted to get baptized is because I'm in need of a Savior and I am ready for God to remove all of my sins. Also, I'm starting a new life by getting baptized."
