Pastor- Dale Regner
Dale grew up on a dairy farm in Verona, New York. His parents (Janet and Delwin) and two brothers (Howard and Roy) still operate the farm as crop farmers and board cattle for another dairy farm. Dale has four siblings. One sister (Diana), the oldest, who currently resides in North Carolina with her husband. Three brothers, all who reside in Verona, two of whom operate the farm as previously mentioned and the third (Ken) teaches at the local high school. Ken also assists the family on the farm in his spare time. They all are married and have their own families. Dale considers himself the troubled middle child. Dale graduated from Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Central School in New York, where he was an all-state wrestler. Dale committed to Slippery Rock State College in Pennsylvania, primarily to wrestle. But this is also where he first placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, met his wife, and received an education.
Dale then married Deborah Knox in 1979. After one short year in the public school system as a teacher and wrestling coach Deb and Dale moved to Denver, Colorado where he received a Master's in Divinity at Denver Seminary. Deb and Dale's first two children, Rob and Kerry were both born in Denver. Deb and Dale spent one year as assistant church planters in Agoo, Philippines with Conservative Baptist Foreign Mission Society. After they returned from a year in the Philippines, they started their ministry at Cannelton Baptist in 1986. Their other two children, Rachelle (Shelly) and Bethany (Bet) were both born in Pennsylvania.
Currently, Rob lives in Carnegie, PA with his wife Cara, Kerry in Clarion, PA, Shelly and Bethany in Pittsburgh, PA (Morningside).
Dale enjoys following amateur wrestling at the high school, collegiate and international levels, the Boston Redsox, cheering against the Steelers and fishing.
